The Paducah Cooperative Ministry (PCM) is a faith-based nonprofit organization in Paducah, Kentucky, dedicated to serving individuals and families in need. Established in 1973, PCM works to alleviate poverty, hunger, and homelessness through various programs, including a food pantry, shelter for the unhoused, and transitional housing initiatives. Rooted in a spirit of compassion and community collaboration, PCM partners with local churches, businesses, and volunteers to provide essential services and support to those facing hardship in McCracken County.
Since 1989, PCM has worked to break the cycle of homelessness in our community. Our Fresh Start Village seeks to provide a safe, homelike environment, a sense of hope and a sense of self-worth, as well as guidance and access to essential resources.
PCM provides a 2-3 day supply of groceries to families in crisis once a month up to five times in any given one-year period. To qualify for assistance, households must provide.
The Paducah Cooperative Ministry seeks to do God’s work with human hands by drawing together individuals and congregations to respond to basic human needs and conditions.
Led by Executive Director Lacy Boling, our dedicated staff works tirelessly to provide essential support to those in need, offering services, guidance, and hope. They are supported by a committed Board of Directors, elected from participating congregations, who help ensure our mission remains strong and impactful in the community.
